Schedule of Events

Every year the FDTA aims to run four or five Festivals and one Ulster Championship.

 

Please note that entry to ALL FDTA competitions can only be made through your teacher who must be a member of the Association.  You must qualify through Festivals to compete solo at the Ulster Championships. 

 

Your teacher will inform you if you are part of a competing team at the Ulster Championships.

 

Please remember to confirm with your Teacher if you are due to compete at any of the following FDTA events.

GLENRAVEL FESTIVAL

Directions for Loughgiel Festival.

 

From A26:

 

Take right turn into Cloughmills (Lisanoo Road)

Proceed to end of Road i.e. T-Junction and turn left (Ballycregagh Road)

Proceed through village of Cloughmills

Pass Chapel on your right and then take Road which forks to the right (Ballyveeley Road)

Proceed on Ballyveeley Road taking third turn to the right after a sharp bend (Lough Road)

Proceed to top of Lough Road and Millennium Centre is last building on your left (signed)

 

From Ballymoney:

 

Take Kilraughts Road heading through both Dunaghy and Killyrammer

Proceed until you a see a sign to the right for Loughgiel (Pharis Road)

Proceed until you reach a crossroads and head straight on (continuation of Pharis Road)

Proceed until you reach another crossroads

Take right turn onto Ballyveeley Road

Proceed on Ballyveeley Road and take left turn for Loughgiel (Lough Road which is just past entrance for Lissanoure Castle on the right)

Proceed to top of Lough Road and Millennium Centre is last building on your left (signed)
